Katie & Richard
Katie & Richard were married at Bellerive Oval (now Bludstone) on October 16th. Their gorgeous little dog Gizmo was the ringbearer for a small ceremony of close family and friends. The weather Gods were kind enough to hold the rain back after the ceremony so we could head outside for some photos. I wish these two alot of love and happiness and hope to see you both again in the not-too-distant future for some photos of a different kind…..stay tuned
Jenny & Dave
On August 18th I travelled down to Hobart’s Royal Botanical Gardens to shoot the elopement of Jenny & Dave, who had come all the way from Perth, Western Australia. They arrived in Tassie with Dave’s parents under the rouse of a holiday and it wasn’t until the day before that Shirley and Peter found out that they’d be the witnesses and sole guests at their son’s wedding. Jenny looked stunning in her silver dress (yes Dave you looked nice too!) and it was a beautiful ceremony in the Conservatory – we were even visited by the ducks who were wondering what all the fuss was about. I’d organised a cake by The Cupcake Fairy for Jenny and Dave, and they, Dave’s parents, Jill Harper (the celebrant) and her husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed getting into that!
Thankfully the rain Gods were good to us as we wandered around the gardens afterwards. As you can see, we had a little bit of baggage and I couldn’t NOT take a pic of Peter and Shirley together also, they were so cute!
Congratulations on your wedding Jenny and Dave. I’m glad to hear everybody was happy for you when you returned home (not even their kids knew the reason for their Tassie trip!) and I wish you all the love and happiness in the world. Give us a yell if you ever venture back down here, I’d love to catch up with you again. xx

Chris & Angie
Chris & Angie chose Angie’s 40th birthday, which just also happened to be Easter Saturday, for their wedding at Strathlyn at Rosevears. As this was the second wedding for both of them, they chose to have their photos taken BEFORE the ceremony, which was to be followed by an intimate lunch with family and friends. The cake was made by a friend who no longer makes wedding cakes due to their all-consuming nature and I think it is the most beautiful cake I have ever seen.
Unfortunately, it was all gone by the time Chris & Angie returned from their month-long honeymoon through England and France and I met up with them to give them their wedding photos (bit jealous about both of those things! lol). I wish these two every happiness for the future and I’m proud to say I’m going to be there to see it as I’ve made a true friend in Angie. xx
Courtney & Noah at 11 Days Old
Time goes by fast. Before you know it, that sleeping little bundle of cuteness is off to uni or starting their first job. Capture that moment forever, like Courtney did. At 36 weeks pregnant we headed off to Lilydale Falls for some “nature” shots. Then Noah was only 11 days old when we took these photos of him as one big wrinkle that liked to pee everywhere! Time is precious. Don’t let it slip away!
Christine & Cameron
Christine & Cameron finally became husband and wife in Strahan on March 12th.
Not having been to Strahan before and with the wedding being held on a long weekend, it was the perfect opportunity to take my family along for a little holiday.
Strahan Village is just beautiful, and we were lucky enough to be blessed by the most beautiful weather.
Included in the wedding party was Christine and Cameron’s children, Alysha and Kaleb, as well as the cheekiest bunch of groomsmen I have ever come across! They certainly kept me on my toes and my face was so sore from laughing at them.
I hope you two had as much fun on your wedding day as I did Christine & Cameron, and I wish you all a lifetime of love and laughter xx
Sherin & Darcy
Sherin & Darcy were married on his family’s property at Blackwood Creek on February 26th. Thank goodness for Google maps and my iPhone cause the Navman was telling me to “go to the nearest road” – some technology is just brilliant!
Everyone was in good spirits and we sure had some characters amongst the guests, and the rain was kind enough to hold off until the last half dozen photos.
Sherin and Darcy celebrated with their guests at the Cressy Hall while I headed home via “the nearest road”.
Congratulations guys, I’m sure your life will be full of love and hijinks and I wish you every happiness xx
Sherin & Darcy’s Sneak Peak
Here’s a little preview from Sherin and Darcy’s February 26th wedding.
More to come soon….
Jade & Jonny
I’d been looking forward to Jade & Jonny’s wedding for a while. Jade is one of the carers that looked after my little girl at daycare and she is just beautiful, inside and out, all the kids at daycare love her! Jade and Jonny were getting married at Entally Estate, just outside of Launceston. Stunning location. Unfortunately for us, the weather wasn’t co-operating. It drizzled consistently throughout the day and the red dirt that paved Entally Estate’s pathways do not go well with a white wedding dress! We looked past the rain. Here was a couple who were so much in love and were making their little family official. Their little boy Jordan was a cheeky one, and obviously a fan of Chuppa-chupps – who isn’t? It was an emotional day as Jenna, Jade’s sister, was supposed to be there but was unable to be. I teared up during the speeches a couple of times. Anyway, I wish Jade, Jonny and Jordan a life filled with love, laughter and cheeky little grins.
Thank you for letting me share such a beautiful day xx
Belinda & Stuart’s Wedding
Belinda and Stuart had a warm but beautiful day when they were married at Grindelwald Lakeside Chapel on January 22nd. I LOVED Belinda’s dress – I’m a sucker for ruffles – and the colour of the bridesmaids’ dresses were gorgeous! As I had my father John from JD Wedding Photography along as my “assistant” it was a great day.
Congratulations to you both Belinda and Stuart, I wish your little family every happiness for the future xx
Susan & Simon
Susan and Simon became Mr & Mrs on January 8th at Latrobe Anglican Church before celebrating at The Axeman’s Hall of Fame. We headed up to The Bluff lighthouse for some photos before being entertained by Slipstream Circus at the reception. It was a fantastic night and so heartwarming to see two families become one aka The Joneses!
Congratulations Susan and Simon, you are so gorgeous together and I wish your whole family years of love and laughter xx
